  • Hand Building & Potter's Wheel

    I Love Pottery Workshop is an one time off workshop open to public - conducts 3-4 times a month over the weekend, public holiday and school holidays. Escape to our pottery jungle, enjoy the nature and learn new skills! I love pottery workshop offers 2 different packages for all ages and no prior experience required. All workshops start with an opening by our instructors, follows by a demonstration on potter's wheel - allowing you to have a closer view of how a bowl/cup is made on the spinning wheel. Through this 2.5 hrs workshop, you will learn: 1. An introductory to pottery making. 2. Learn the basic techniques of hand building and glazing. 3. Introduction of pottery wheel & experience on the wheel. Revised pricing as of 1 Jan 2022 Adult : $65 Child (8 years old- 14years old) : $55 Parent & Child (below 8 years old): $65 Outcome: 1 handbuilding art work & 1 potter's wheel art work Parent and Child package will be sharing 1 handbuilding & 1 potter's wheel art work. What’s Hand building & Potters wheel? 1. Hand building - we will be teaching basic technique of hand building e.g.: slab work, pinching, coiling, rolling. (Art piece: Penholder / Mug ) 2. Potter wheel - Throwing is one of the pottery making techniques, it can be pretty challenging but just give it a try! Our experienced instructor will assist you to make a bowl/cup/mini vase. After guiding, you will try out on your own! All materials (Clay, tools, colours) are provided and no prior experience required. **BE ON TIME Understand that we are located in the far ulu Jurong area, please kindly plan your traveling time well. Please arrive 10-15 minutes earlier for the necessary registration and seat assigning. Latecomers (late for more than 15 minutes): your seats will be forfeited. Please familiarize yourself with the direction to our studio: https://www.potteryjungle.com/getting-here **IMPORTANT Due to the nature of clay, all art pieces will be ready in 3-4 weeks. During the rainy season, art pieces will take a longer time to dry. Please be patient, we will email you whenever the art pieces are ready.

  • Trial on Potter’s Wheel

    Spend 2 hours at our pottery jungle, mastering the skill of throwing on the turning wheel. It can be pretty challenging but definitely worth trying out! Schedule updated till August, do click on the "Book Now" button to check more available slots! Revised pricing as of 1 Jan 2022 Trial Potter Wheel Workshop - $80/pax (Suitable for 17 years old & above) Through this 2 hrs workshop, you will learn: 1. An introductory to pottery making. 2. Introduction of pottery wheel & experience on the wheel. 3. Each participant will be given 5 lumps of clay and create art works from the wheel. (You will be given 5 lumps of clay for making 5 pcs, one piece of firing cost is included and optional of 4 pcs extra can be fired at cost $15 per piece.) 4. Each bowl/cup will be glazed by Thow Kwang instructor. (You get to select our range of glazes!)   • Paw Stamping Workshop

    Bowl will be made by instructor - No prior experience/skill required. Bowl size: D 14 cm x H 4 cm 3 easy steps: 1. Bring your pet to our studio 2. Stamp pet's paw 3. Choose preferred colour for bowl (instructor will glaze on behalf) OR you can handpaint bowl on the spot using our in house colour stains Duration: 30 minutes: Paw stamping & colouring the bowl(optional) Bowl will be ready in 4-5 weeks time Collection notification will be send out via sms or email FAQ 1. Are the glaze food safe and pet safe? Yes, all our glazes are safe. 2. How many glazes can I choose from? 3. If I want to handpaint the bowl, how many colours can i choose? We have 11 colours stains for you to choose. 4 colours. Please take note that glazes will be apply by instructor as bowl needs to be fully dry.     We offer good learning environment, instructor who has more than 11 years of ceramics experience and meet people with common interest! Long Term Course consists of 10 sessions@SGD550+GST Duration 3 hours | Every Sundays 2pm-5pm Schedule of modules will be updated once previous cycle ends. Fee is not inclusive of materials, tools, glazes and firing. Fee of glazing and firing will be charged acording to size of the artwork. Price of clay: $28 for 12kg Price of tools set: $10
